You can go through life just talking about your great idea or you can do something about it. One of the greatest contributors to success is not what you would ordinarily think. Most would say it was the idea itself. While the idea is important, it pales in comparison to an entrepreneurs diligence. Many great ideas will never see the light of day simply because someone is not willing to do what’s necessary. Usually, that means facing repeated rejection while trying to move that idea from thought into reality. I once saw a guy selling cow chips with googoo eyes on them and toothpicks for legs. (you can Google “Turd Bird”) Now, that was at a gas station on a country road, but apparently, SOMEBODY gets a kick out of this little country souvenir. Imagine if the “Turd Bird” salesman tried to get placement in someplace like NYC. He would get laughed off the block. City folks are not his audience. I don’t think anyone would sale many cow turds in the city. Most ideas will work, you just have to find your audience. Instead of pushing on to find the right audience, most will use fear of rejection as an excuse to not move forward. The truth is, they could be passing up the opportunity of a lifetime, that thing that can provide the means to have the lifestyle they’ve always wanted. If our “Turd Bird” salesman would have quit after being rejected in the city & never moved on to try the rural areas, he would have went through life thinking that the “Turd Bird” was a bad idea. SInce he did not give up, now you can find “Turd Bird” all over Americas Heartland. Get my drift???
GOOD IDEA?
